NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES

Amada Battista LMFT#102607 | AB Family Therapist Professional Corporation

AB Family Therapist Professional Corporation (here on AB-FTPC) is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of the AB-FTPC websites.

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for all websites owned or controlled by AB-FTPC and applies only to websites owned or controlled by AB-FTPC (hereafter collectively referred to as “Site” or “Sites”).

Information Collected

AB-FTPC collects information from users at several different points on our Site. Personal information collected from users will be disclosed only per this policy.

Users Browsing Site

AB-FTPC does not require users to complete a registration form or submit personal information (e.g., names, addresses, credit card numbers, social security numbers) to browse our Site.

Log Files

AB-FTPC gathers certain information automatically from Site visitors and stores it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. AB-FTPC uses this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, administer the Site, analyze Site usage, and gather information.

 Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this Site. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our Site.

We use session ID cookies, but we do not use persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies are used to store your passwords, so you don’t have to enter them more than once; since you do not need to log in to AB-FTPC sites, these are unnecessary. You can remove persistent cookies by following the directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file. If you reject cookies, you may still use our Site, but your ability to use some areas of our Site will be limited.

This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by AB-FTPC only and does not cover the use of cookies on websites not owned or controlled by AB-FTPC.

Information Sharing

We respect your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us, including and similar to your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address, will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside our organization.

Government and Legal Disclosures

We may disclose the personal information we collect through this Site when we, in good faith, believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law (or court order or subpoena) to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements that govern your use of this Site; or to protect the rights, property or safety of our company, our users, or others.

Website Security

The security of your personal information is essential to AB-FTPC. AB-FTPC takes every precaution to protect a user’s personal information. When you submit sensitive information on our website, such as a credit card or social security number, we encrypt that transmitted information using secure socket layer technology (SSL) to protect it from being intercepted by third parties.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information sent to us, both during transmission of the information and once we receive it. However, no transmission or electronic storage method is entirely secure. Therefore, while we use accepted industry means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Other AB-FTPC Sites

AB-FTPC operates other websites that are linked to AB-FTPC.org. Those websites include https://ab-lmft.com/ and https://terapia-psicologica.org/

Children

AB-FTPC does not knowingly collect personal data from or direct the Site to children under the age of 13. If AB-FTPC becomes aware that such information has been provided, AB-FTPC will delete or destroy the data.

Legal Disclaimer

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or other legal processes.

Changes to this Privacy Statement

Suppose we decide to change our privacy policy. In that case, we will post these changes to this privacy statement and other places that we deem appropriate so that you are aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, the information is disclosed. Suppose, at some point, we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time this information was collected. In that case, we will notify users by way of e-mail.

AB-FTPC reserves the right to change this privacy statement at any time. Please review this statement frequently for any changes to our privacy policy.
